It's amazing how easily alarmists such as yourself are projecting
the desires of a VERY FEW software publishers onto all publishers
of content.

Your blind rage is disturbing, as are your alarmist sweeping 
generalizations. I am a publisher and have no intention of doing any 
such thing with my books. I doubt that most other publishers would 
either.
