Hello.

On my PC I have two soundcards and they always worked perfectly up to 11.3.
Lately I upgraded to 12.1 and now one of them plays bad: sound is slowed
and crackling as if the output could not work up to speed.

Relevant part of dmesg:

Issuing "mplayer -ao oss:/dev/dsp0 Track_03.WAV" works perfectly, with
output from the "front" SBLive jack.

Issuing "mplayer -ao oss:/dev/dsp1 Track_03.WAV" outputs sound from the
motherboard, but, as I said, it's garbled!

Any hint?

Also, I think I was able to output from the "rear" SBLive jack, but
there's no /devdsp2!

I do not really need that, but it might be an alternative if I cannot
get the embedded card to work.

  bye & Thanks
	av.
