Bit of a long shot, just curious.
Has anyone considered what it would take to implement the necessary
context switch magic to support Jazelle mode in various ARM9 cores?
Native Java support could be really useful, particularly so on the
OpenMoko Neo, where FreeBSD is already known to run using das u-Boot:
