I'm in an identical situation to a poster here in Dec 2006:

http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-multimedia/2006-December/
005591.html

I have my Hauppauge 250 card working fine in mplayer and in doing a
raw capture (cat /dev/cxm0). MythTV cannot probe my card.

What is the status in getting the driver update I'll need to use
Myth? What road should I embark on? The pvrxxx port? I'm anxious to
get this working =)
