I'm confused. If you run "date" does it show the time zone as EST or EDT? If you have python installed, you might also try: python -c 'import time; print time.localtime().tm_isdst' (it should be 1) Is the year correct? I mean, could it be thinking it's some different year, where the time zone rules are different? Now *I'm* curious. :-) I've honestly never seen a system do that before.
