Hi David!
    There was another report on the list about a stale MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX caus=
ing someone grief. I think it's safe to say that meta mode and -DNO_CLEAN mi=
ght not work across this transition--in particular meta mode tends to err on=
 the side of not to rebuilding things.
