Ispell comes with his own ispell.el file and it seems that I forgot to put it in the package :-( Either reinstall ispell from source or extract ispell.el and put it in your site-lisp directory: $ ls -l /usr/local/lib/emacs/site-lisp/ total 264 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 42469 Mar 6 04:43 ispell.elc -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 91476 Mar 6 04:43 ispell.el I will update the port soon.
