Hello, question@FreeBSD.org ! I am going to use numerical applications on a X11 Window desktop and I do not want to miss "our" nice and stable FreeBSD system. Therefore I have to upgrade my old 486 mainboard. The new one should be an P6/200 board, because possible Linux/Alpha combinations are still very pricey (new SIMMs, sic!). Are there FreeBSD supported P6/200 boards working flawlessly with the whole numerical power (the very first models did not!) ? It would be very nice if you could give me some hints or names of FreeBSD/P6 experienced users. So long, Jens Griepentrog griepent@wias-berlin.de
