Andriy,

1)  About mail client:  Sorry, but I am just using GMail's interface to
email with you.  Nothing weird here.

2)  Based on what you are saying, am I correct that I should export the root
from the slower machine, and then use installworld/kernel on the fast
machine while setting DESTDIR=/ ???
