Subject:   running "#pkg upgrade pkg" broke things, how do I fix?

This was literally step #1 to upgrade my system. I am running:

FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE-p9 FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE-p9 #0: Mon Sep 15 14:35:52 UTC
2014     root@amd64-builder.daemonology.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC
 amd64

All I did was run this command:

#pkg upgrade pkg

Got an error, now I get this:

#pkg

/lib/libc.so.7: version FBSD_1.4 required by /usr/local/lib/libpkg.so.4 not
found

How do I fix pkg?
