After almost a quarter century using FreeBSD, it's a bit embarrassing to admit to my confusion. It's something I did back just after geli came into existence and have not really paid attention to since a bit before I retired almost a decade ago. It turns out to have been a trivial issue caused by confusion from not adequately understanding the keying information in the geli man page. -- Kevin Oberman, Part time kid herder and retired Network Engineer E-mail: rkoberman@gmail.com PGP Fingerprint: D03FB98AFA78E3B78C1694B318AB39EF1B055683
