Mike (& Folks),

We've recently installed an eXtremeRaid 2000 with our dell powervault 210S
(12 drives, only 11 allocated), running under FreeBSD 4.3. The driver
appears to work okay, except during boot up. While booting, it looks at
3:15 consistently (3:15 is the controller of the PV210S), says that is is
gone, sometimes marks it offline (and othertimes throws up some diagnostic
information), and then pauses... for 2+ minutes. Then it boots, and
everything operates normally. We didn't have this problem in our previous
setup (with the DAC1100 and the mlx driver, everything worked fine).

Does anyone know why it's pausing, and a way to avoid it? I have attempted
to include the important information, if anything else is needed please let
me know. -t.
