I apologize if this is an inappropriate question. I am having a
problem with my imap server port. If there is a more appropriate
forum please let me know.

I am running on 5.3 and when I installed the imap-uw server it works
great with ssl connections on port 993.

My problem is that I want to have the server run on port 143 with no
security whatsoever also at the same time. I need the non-secure imap
for internal apps that require IMAP but have no security support. I
have a firewall to keep me safe from outside traffic. The port is
open but all my imap apps that have no security support are unable to
connect.

Are there instructions for how to do this? Does anyone know the make
flags?

Thanks in advance.

mhr
