Any printed documentation on FreeBSD would be welcome, IMHO. I'm just
about to start a FreeBSD 3.1 installation on one of my systems.
Although I have a copy of the original print of 'The Complete
FreeBSD', I still view the whole process with a degree of
trepidation. Contrast that with the admittedly small manual that
comes with RedHat. It's not complete, but it does get you going and
steer you in the right direction.

If you compare what's currently available for FreeBSD verses Linux,
it's clear that there's a long way to go. Without accessible printed
material, I don't see how Joe Public is ever really going to hear
about FreeBSD as a viable alternative to Linux or other commercial
O/S'es.

I would. By the way, I'm wondering about your effort for an O'Reilly
edition. Did that go away while I wasn't looking?
