Dear all, I´m new to FreeBSD (allthough I have a little bit of experience with Linux) and I´ve just installed FreeBSD 4.4 yesterday. Everything went well untill I installed and configured Samba. My Win98 box has now access to my FreeBSD box but when I try to connect to the Win box I get the following message: >smbclient Win98 params.c: Open Conf File () - unable to open configuration file "usr/local/etc/smb.conf" too many open files in System In my sysloged-log files I can read: /kernel: file: table is full Has anyone an idea what this means and how I can solve the problem? I´ve been trying to figure it out since yesterday morning, but I don´t get any further. Thanks in advance. Kirstin P.S. Please excuse my bad english, I´m from Germany.
