I just set my clock to february 29 2000. Is this valid ?

K&R as an example program implies 2000 should be a leap year.
I've not found any hard evidence other than this that it shouldn't be a
leap year, but I've been hearing rumours that the rules have changed
and that 2000 won't be a leap year.

I don't know.. I'm confused, I expect someones already sorted this and
decided 2000 is a leap year.

Either way, any chance someone can let me know if the following is
actually correct or not.

root@dylan# date 0002282359.54
Mon Feb 28 23:59:54 GMT 2000

root@dylan# date
Tue Feb 29 00:00:02 GMT 2000

[I'm expected to produce a statement of year 2000 compliance of all our
software by the end of the week, ha! This should be fun.. but I doubt
I'm alone with this task]

Many Thanks,
