How do I login as root. Ideally, you create a user for yourself and do all work as that user. That keeps down on the number of possible ``accidents'' (ie removing the wrong files). If you need superuser priviledges run the `su' command and give it the root password when prompted. To exit superuser mode just `exit' the shell.
