Hi Ho! This is the situation: I have a FBSD box with two(2) network cards, one for the LAN(ed1) and one for the NET(ed0). This is what works: I can telnet locally (telnet localhost) and I can also telent from the internet to the BSD box (telnet my.net.ip.xx) This is what DOES NOT work: I cannot telnet from my LAN(192.168.0.2) to the BSD box(192.168.0.1). In fact I noticed I don't have any of the ports available to my lan (21;23;25;etc...) Why is this, both IP's have the same SubNet Mask; could this be the problem? NOTE: I can ping all the machines on my LAN as well as all the machines on my LAN can ping the FBSD box.. Thank you for your time, Confused, ----------- Stephane R. segr@segr.ml.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
