I've got a question here...how does one upgrade kde properly from ports?

Okay, it sounds like a stupid question, except that the other day I went
from "/usr/ports/x11/kde" -> "/usr/ports/x11/kde11", and going into
"/usr/ports/x11/kde11" and typing make doesn't do it. I had to physically
go into each and every one of the "/usr/ports/*/kde*11" directories and do
a make install, since, according to "/usr/ports/x11/kde11", all the
packages where, of course, already installed...

The problem is that its all spread around in a half dozen different
'sub-categories'...maybe a "/usr/ports/x11-{kde,gnome}" hieracrhy where
everything is put would be good? Or did I just miss something when I did
my upgrade?
