There seems to be a slight DNS problem 

harkonnen:~> nslookup daily.daemonnews.org

 can't find daily.daemonnews.org: Non-existent host/domain

And as for slashdot.. well...

Although it's not the correct attitude, I trust someone else has/will post
the story on DN and/or slashdot
