nope..

the only difference I've found so far is teh following differnce in the
dmesg output:
21,22c21
< Timecounter "ACPI-safe"  frequency 3579545 Hz
< unknown: I/O range not supported
---

I'm not sure wht that signifies but I'll check the BIOS settings again
tomorrow
(well the MAC addresses on teh NICs are different too but I don't
think that is the culprit.)
