Thanks Omar,

I tried everything but I still can't get it going. The package from 2.1.7
installed pretty as you please. I didn't have any problems until the
wu-ftpd-2.4.2b13 package from 2.2.2.

Another thing... the other thread about wu-ftp has me confused. Am I
understanding correctly that some people are needing to put tar and gzip
in ~ftp/bin ?? It seems to me that wu-ftp should tar and gzip without
either of these in ftp/bin. The only things that need to be modified to
use tar & gzip are ftpaccess and ftpconversions. Am I missing something?
