This may be a silly question but I need some help so here it is. I installed bind 9 and I am unable to find it. I installed FreeBSD 4.4 upgraded to 4.7 stable. I have bind 8 installed. I want to run bind 9 for security reasons. I installed in from ports. I can't find it. I thought that it simply replaced the executable /usr/sbin/named. But the last change date it has is from the initial install. The named.conf file has not changed, and I can't find a directory specifying bind 9. Anybody able to help me out here? dusk@bytch.net dusk@badseed.bytch.net "And so, it begins" - Kosh
