Hi;

i wish to fix this problem:

john# pnpinfo
Checking for Plug-n-Play devices...
No Plug-n-Play devices were found

this is on a box that has pnp things in it that get probed by the kernel
and work successfully.

i have plenty of time to dig, so eventually i'll figure it out, but it
would be more fun to get a pointer and go directly to the meat of the
problem, since i really am interested fixing midi support and this is just
an interesting side trip.

my guess is that some structure that has been altered in the kernel src
wasnt ported to pnpinfo.

any suggestions appreciated...

tnx!

johnu
