Hi,
I have tried getting my system to use DHCP on my local network, but I'm having
trouble.
If I don't use DHCP everything works fine, but if I use DHCP I get the
following messages appearing in my log file when I use ESD, and try and ping
my LAN IP.
Jun 13 17:35:21 guppy /kernel: arplookup 127.0.0.1 failed: could not allocate
llinfo
Jun 13 17:35:21 guppy /kernel: arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo for 127.0.0.1rt

I notcied also that the arp table doesn't have an entry for my IP when I use
DHCP. When I don't use DHCP I have a line like
guppy.dons.net.au (203.31.81.9) at 0:80:ad:16:77:3e permanent [ethernet]

in the arp table, but its not there when I use DHCP. I can't add it by hand
either.

I am running -current as of this morning (ie 12 Jun 10:30am GMT), and I have a
Digital 21140 base 10/100 card. It has 2 ports, one for 10 and the other for
100 mbits (lame). Personally I suspect the driver since I've had other
strangness with arp and this card when I try and change media, but I could be
way off base.

Any ideas?
