Could there be problem in FreeBSD 5.x (specially in 5.4) ata driver that causes dma timeouts? mostly those problems in burning dvd-images that I was asking yesterday. because in some puter on same drives and all same hardware I had no problems on windows xp or linux 2.4-kernel... asking this because I had dma timeout problems on freebsd 5.3 puter too. it works fine with pio mode, but when I turn on dma it timeouts all the time. -- kpn @ IRCnet
