Please explain why:

1) you need to remove the port from the tree, instead of just keep it
there with marked broken,

2) you need to remove the entry from the module file

and

3) you don't put the files back in place yourself.

Unless there are apparent reasons for questions above, please put the
port and the entries in Makefile and the modules file back to how they
were yourself.
