Hi All, Recently (well past couple of days ago) I asked a question in this mailing = list and well got a lot of helpful replies...:) Thanks...:) I sorted my problem out which was to do with setting up a freebsd = nis-server serving freebsd and linux clients and other issues related with = it, for example using amd to mount home directories, while maps are being = served over nis. Good experience, I say...:) I would like to put this up as a short article for other beginners to go = through if they fall into a similar situation. I tried subscribing to the = freebsd-doc, but havent received any replies on that as yet. I believe it = is waiting for approval or something!?!?!? Quite long now, around 3-4 = weeks.
