After running with this for two days, I can report one or two
problems that crop up when I wake up the screen from DPMS sleep:

* Serious: Sometimes the focus is stuck to the active window.
I use mwm with click-to-focus, and when this happens it becomes
impossible to change the focus. I need to kill the X11 session.

* Not serious: It usually takes a few seconds before the mouse
  becomes responsive again.
