Do they work? If they do, why upgrade them? If they don't, you have to fix them anyway. If you have the option of upgrading them at all (through remote administration), is it really that hard to run the *one* *single* command that's needed to upgrade the boot blocks? # disklabel -B -b /boot/boot1 -s /boot/boot2 /dev/foo0s1 Even *I* can do that ;) (OBTW, I assume you're talking about Interjets...?)
