I've tried (as an experiment) running make aout-to-elf on a stock 2.2.2 box, but it stops while bootstrap make, complaining about an 'undefined symbol _sysctlbyname'. Has anyone had any success upgrading directly? Does anyone have time to try and make it work, then mail me a detailed account of the procedure and results?
