I keep my source tree on an x86, so I haven't tried to use it for real, but I did get most of the way through a ports extraction. If you're interested in using it, you'll need to have a few things below /compat/osf1 (but not shared libs since its static). I'll see if I can put together a tarball of files you'll need to have in order to run this and other static osf/1 binaries..
