Sigh.  An especially stupid bug - I wasn't copying the user input
back over!  Fixed, thanks.

This is fixed, albeit probably not the way you like.. :-)

I ignore cua0* devices now since I have no way of knowing if the slip
link is permanant and in the case if ppp I don't need to write
anything out anyway!

Hmph..  I'd have to go re-engineer the above, but I'll think
about it.. :-)
