SVN? is that like CVS? Yes, it's the successor for version control access for FreeBSD sources and ports. In the past, CVS has been used (cvsup-without-gui from ports, later csup in the base OS), today Subversion is being used (subversion from ports, probably svnup soon in OS). The functionality toward the "end user" is comparable, even though certain things are easier to achieve with SVN.
