I'd be surprised if the two drivers weren't different. But you're more
likely to find a hack for OpenBSD on an OpenBSD list than on a FreeBSD
list. You're also more likely to find someone who can commit fixes to
OpenBSD after looking at the FreeBSD code on an OpenBSD list.

In other words, you should direct your question to the appropriate
OpenBSD support list.
