Hi Scott,

Thanks for responding.
Despite my little experience programming in C some day I would like to 
contribute with this code to the community.. but I need to make this 
tape works as soon as possible to replace another server with a hard 
crashed tape, for this reason I'm running without backups. Witch adapter 
would you recommend to work with this DLT tape on FreeBSD 5.3?
