hi, i'd like advice on hooking up a dumb terminal to my FreeBSD box. i connected this laptop to my desktop with a serial laplink cable, set the /etc/ttys nicely, set up Windows Terminal on the laptop, but did not get a login: prompt. everything looks fine on the FreeBSD side, getty was running, and stty for ttyd0 shows desired settings. any advice? ivan
