: that the assembler has a problem with the .weak directive as produced : by this version. As said before, the binutils shall have to be : upgraded too. This is a well known bug that can be fixed in the FreeBSD specific portions of gcc. no need to change the binutils on FreeBSD. The weak stuff isn't needed unless you are doing ELF. Warner
