Yep.  patchset 10 (you have 9) has fixed these i18n issues.  You can get
it at http://www.eyesbeyond.com/freebsddom/java/jdk.html (and mirrors :).
That will mean building the JDK again though.

Might be a bug in the Linux emulation instead though.
