                Dear Sir

I own a Canon iP1600 printer and its driver is written for
linux-32bit.i386.rpm. My box runs FreeBSD-6.1-R amd64 and l need to set this
printer on. I've heard of downloading linux_base-fc4 but FreeBSD-6.1-R is
short of such port and I see I will have to upgrade the system. Is it a
correct procedure? I've heard of rpm2cpio application but ...will it be able
to extract the files and mount them?

                Regards

                Luiz
