Machine: 25Mhz 386, no 387, 4Mb RAM, WD1007V, NE2000 (non-standard location), Emerald QIC-36 (PC-36) controller at 0x300, Orchid ProDesigner II SVGA (Note that FreeBSD does not support the Emerald controller -- it is there for MS-DOS operation). Kernel config: disabled all but fdc0, wdc0, sio*, lpt*, and npx (otherwise, the system locked right after looking for wdc1). Booting from the installation floppy, after configuration, I got to: /stand/sysinstall running as init Installation system initializing.. panic: page fault I will be happy to do anything I can to gather more info.
