I tried 'play' after upgrading to 4.1.1 and running MAKEDEV, and it doesn't mork. The error message is '/dev/dsp: invalid argument'. I tried deleting and remaking the snd and snd0 nodes, which by the way complains about mixer being an invalid node, but somehow I got that working. I was using play to play a .wav, if it matters. Catting a .au file works fine. jcm -- "I drank WHAT ?!" - Socrates To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
