Ipfilter's principal developer and maintainer (Darren Reed) is 
responsible for the upkeep of ipfilter in the FreeBSD tree.  You should 
check with him to determine his schedule for this, but I suspect he may 
have other priorities (I get the impression he's a fairly busy chap).
