It may well do, but I would recommend waiting for 2.1.5 (due out next
week).  The support for IDE CDROMs will be considerably better then in
2.0.5 (if indeed 2.0.5 even supported IDE CDROMs - I can't remember
offhand), although unfortunately still only in alpha.
