We don't use portsnap (and > cvsup we do use but not that often), for example. We use cvsup here, daily, to update the ports tree ... and based on someone else's post (alex?), finding out that portsnap overwrites the ports tree, which I'm taking to mean it will remove anything I add to it, makes changing over for me a no-op :( ---- Marc G.
