Please re-read the ppp documentation.  Also look at the FAQ at 

  http://www.FreeBSD.org/FAQ/userppp.html

Your chat script is probably wrong, and as you're using a terminal 
adapter, freebsd-isdn is the wrong place to ask this sort of 
question...
