Older compaq's; one pressario1600 and a E500

So,what cardbus hardware for an nx9005?
for presario 1600 it's:
cbb0: <TI1211 PCI-CardBus Bridge> at device 10.0 on pci0
cardbus0: <CardBus bus> on cbb0
pccard0: <16-bit PCCard bus> on cbb0

I am still curious if you can get the card to work on _any_ other machine?
The messages on uplugging would't realy worry me actually; it does detach
eventualy. Could be wrong though.
Perhaps some-one else can enlighten us on the ghz stuff: does it have
any 'real'
value, or is it just some hardware string?
