The only thing that occurs to me is that you might not have added the
relevant lines to services and inetd.conf. Run "man swat" and it will tell
you the lines you need to add to get it to work. If you already did that and
rebooted, I hope someone else has other ideas. Good luck!

PS: Here it is

Setting up swat:

Edit /etc/services to activate swat port:
swat  901/tcp   #Samba web administration tool.


Edit /etc/inetd.conf:
# Samba web administration tool
swat stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/local/sbin/swat swat

Samba can now be configured using a web browser by going to
http://localhost:901/ and logging-in as root.

I do all the things that the docs say, but I still cann't use
http://localhost:901 to use swat to config samba config file.

WHY?
