At least as far as my security logs tell me. Only the fbsd machine is protected by the firewall. I can send mail anywhere else, even to my self from my win machine. On the FBSD machine, my aliases file is done correctly, for some reason I come up as root@icomcast.net instead of root@pcp01840552pcs.owngsm01.md.comcast.net Ive grep'd all the config files I could find, but cant even find a mention of `icomcast.net`. Im lost there :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kent Stewart" <kstewart@owt.com> To: "Charlie Root" <root@icomcast.net> Cc: <freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG> Sent: Sunday, June 02, 2002 4:02 PM Subject: Re: > > > Charlie Root wrote: > > > From: <vbrammer@comcast.net> > > To: "Kent Stewart" <kstewart@owt.com> > > Cc: <FreeBSD-stable@FreeBSD.ORG> > > References: <200206021906.g52J6Nnx022102@pcp01840552pcs.owngsm01.md.comcast.net> <3CFA70E3.9020809@owt.com> > > Subject: Re: Email Problems > > Date: Sun, 2 Jun 2002 15:44:37 -0400 > > MIME-Version: 1.0 > > Content-Type: text/plain; > > charset="iso-8859-1" > > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > > X-Priority: 3 > > X-MSMail-Priority: Normal > > X-Unsent: 1 > > X-MIMEOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.50.4807.1700 > > > > My latest build was 4.6-RC, dated May 31st, and yes , I did use mergmaster. > > All my personal mail is received on a win95 machine, but I cant email > > freebsd-stable@freebsd.org from the win95 machine, for whatever reason.
