Yes, i have noticed this. However my /etc/defaults/pccard.conf only has irq 10 defined and pccardd_flags=" -i 10" in /etc/rc.conf, yet it still maps it to 11. Very odd. -----Original Message----- From: Warren Block [mailto:wblock@wonkity.com] Sent: Friday, June 07, 2002 12:29 PM To: mikej@trigger.net Subject: Re: Toshiba Tecra 8000 laptop freezes when ep0 pccard is detected upon bootup In mailing.freebsd.stable, you wrote: > Jun 7 10:39:29 laptop /kernel: ep0: <3Com Etherlink III 3C589> at port > 0x240-0x24f irq 11 slot 0 on pccard0 Irq 11 is already shared by several things, at least on my 8000 (PII-300). I had to configure my Netgear card to run on irq 10. /etc/pccard.conf contains just this: irq 10 "PCIC Compatible" also had to be set for PC Card in the BIOS. I think that's everything; hope this helps! -- Warren Block * Rapid City, South Dakota * USA To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
